About CJ Essentials LLC, dba The Spa Suite
At CJ Essentials LLC, also known as The Spa Suite, we believe that self-care is a necessity, not a luxury. Founded in 2017 and now based in Polk County, Florida, our wellness brand was created to help individuals experience peace, healing, and confidence through intentional self-care. We handcraft natural skincare, haircare, and wellness products—from whipped body mousse and our Men's self-care products to herbal teas, sea moss gel and luxury soy wax candles—all made with clean, effective ingredients and love.
What started as a personal passion has grown into a trusted certified minority woman-owned business, serving customers nationwide through Amazon Handmade, Faire, Etsy, and our own online store. Our mission remains the same: to nourish the body, calm the mind, and elevate the spirit, one handcrafted product at a time.
In addition to our product line, we offer hands-on skincare and candle-making classes, helping others explore creativity, self-sufficiency, and even entrepreneurship.
Meet the Founder — Coach Carlen Jones
Carlen Jones is a published author, entrepreneur, business mentor, and cancer survivor who transformed her healing journey into a mission-driven brand. After being diagnosed with cancer, Carlen began researching and creating natural remedies to support her recovery. That experience sparked the birth of CJ Essentials LLC—an outlet for healing, creativity, and purpose.
With a strong desire to uplift others, Carlen also founded Empowering Entrepreneurs for Success, a Facebook platform and educational community designed to guide and inspire both new and experienced business owners. She hosts virtual sessions, workshops, and in-person meetups to provide actionable tools and real-world insight.
Carlen is a proud graduate of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and the Bank of America Institute for Women’s Entrepreneurship at Cornell.
